Arrival details
Provide the flight number and a working passenger contact. Arrival timing can change, and clear contact information helps coordinate the meeting point without making the traveller search for the vehicle.
Private YVR pickups and drop-offs planned around flight details, passenger count, luggage and the onward destination.
For an arrival, the important details are the flight number, terminal, passenger contact information, destination and luggage needs. For a departure, pickup timing should allow for the drive to YVR plus the airline’s recommended check-in window. That planning matters more than simply sending the closest available vehicle.
Pickup instructions can differ by terminal and booking arrangement. We confirm the trip details before service and use the flight information supplied with the reservation to plan the arrival. If you are travelling with children, skis, golf clubs, multiple large suitcases or other oversized items, tell us before the vehicle is assigned.
A Lincoln Continental works well for one to three travellers with moderate luggage. A Chevrolet Suburban provides extra passenger and cargo room, while a Mercedes Sprinter is better suited to larger private groups. Stretch limousines are available when the airport trip is part of a wedding or special event, but they are not automatically the best choice for heavy luggage.
Airport service can continue directly to Whistler, the Canada Place cruise terminal, Metro Vancouver communities and other regional destinations. For Seattle or SeaTac, use our dedicated cross-border page because border timing and documentation make that trip different from a local airport transfer.
The best airport transfer is uneventful: the vehicle is appropriate for the party, the pickup instructions are understood, and there is enough time for the terminal, traffic and luggage. That requires a little information before the trip rather than a last-minute vehicle assignment.

For trips to YVR, pickup time should account for the origin, expected traffic and the airline’s recommended check-in window. Early-morning, weekday and cruise-day traffic can require different planning.
A vehicle can have enough seats and still be wrong for the trip. Full-size suitcases, skis, golf bags, strollers and child seats should be considered before choosing a sedan, SUV or Sprinter.
Airport transportation often continues beyond a simple YVR-to-downtown transfer. Travellers may need a direct connection to Canada Place, a hotel, a residence, Whistler or another Metro Vancouver community. Keeping the transfer private means the route can be planned around the party rather than a shared schedule.
For passengers arriving before a cruise, we can plan the airport-to-hotel or airport-to-terminal leg separately. For Whistler travellers, luggage and winter gear become more important, which is why the dedicated Whistler page should be used for route-specific planning.

Yes. YVR to Whistler transfers can be booked with a vehicle selected for the group and luggage.
A luxury SUV may fit some six-passenger trips, but a Mercedes Sprinter is often more practical when six travellers have full-size luggage.
